Yes. My grandpa married a Chinese woman when he went there. She is my step grandma but its to bad that she doesn't know fluent english and I dont know Chinese.
Yes. two actually. One is one of my best friends.... well probably a friend. His real name is Christopher, but everyone calls him Pino. He is like a family from the book because he is from the Philippines and that's how he got his nickname "Pino" because if you live in the Philippines you are called Philippino. Sort of like Oregonians but different. The other one is me. Because the family from the book is from Mexico and I'm mexican. So yeah.
No I do not know any body from where people are from in the story. I would like to see and meet a family from China though. I think people from China are very pretty. I love black hair. Most of the woman and girls from China have black hair. It is very straight. I think that the dragon is very fantabulous. That is my word. I also like the clothes they where. Red is a very common color in China. I wonder if they ride horses there. Happy MLK day!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope to visite China some day. I also hope to write a longer blog than Sara....
Kind of because my grandpa was born in Japan so I am a quarter Japanese. He did not speak English that much at first. My aunt lives in New York too. I got to go Friday Island in Canada. I went on a ferry.
Currently I teach 4th grade, I am the mother of 2 kids: my hero, a son who served 2 tours of duty in Iraq as a U.S. Marine and a awesome daughter in middle school.
No, I have never meet anyone that is like in the story. have a good day:)
