I think that Ephram and Mr. Washington are like real people because a man can be blind and here things a lot of other people can't. Ephram is also like a real person because anyone can play a violin really well. That is how I think Ephram and Mr. Washington are real.
I think they are real because a mane can be blind. And a man can have a guide dog. Also a boy can like playing the violin. And he can practice on the roof.
I think that Ephram and Mr. Washington do seem like real people. Why? Because in the story, they do regular things. They don't go and ride on a dragon's back. Ephram plays violin like a lot of kids. Mr. Washington is blind just like what some people are. So he doesn't seem fake. Written By, Sara

I also think that you can have violin classes.

People can sing on stage in real life just like us. If they can do all those things in the story just like in real life than why can't they be real people.
I think they are. Because they play an instrument and they both live some where. they got in an ascendant and his little girl died and that can happen in real life.
Yes they do because they have there own kind of personality and do not act the same. They are both different and that means they act like they are human.
But they could also be fake because the book cover doesn't say that its based on a real story and I don't think that if you are blind, you can see in the dark.
Currently I teach 4th grade, I am the mother of 2 kids: my hero, a son who served 2 tours of duty in Iraq as a U.S. Marine and a awesome daughter in middle school.
