How do the family members try to take care of one another during the drought?

  1. They have a birthday party for Sarah and they forget it and have fun and Caleb keeps a cup on the fence to catch water if it rains they protect each other buy not using large amounts of water and not wasting.

  3. They throw a party for Sarah and have so much fun and forget all about bad things. Caleb also keeps a glass on the fence post to get water when it rains. Also Anna gives Sarah a book for her birthday.

    They have a birthday party for Sarah. When they did that they all forgot about it.

  10. They throw a party for Sarah. The party makes them forget about the drought. Also they help by only using little bits of water, what they need. No one wastes the water. If they get some water out they use it. Except for in the end when they get the last barrel of water. That's when they don't use it because they could use it for other things.

    They take away things that reminded them of the bad things that had happend. The they look at the things that remind them of the things that are good.
